Auto Hustle Review (Facebook)

Gamezebo Rating: 80

While at its core Auto Hustle is a straight conversion of Grand Theft Auto for Facebook, that?s not necessarily a bad thing. Get this: You are a criminal, and you don?t care too much for anyone else but you. Armed with an apartment, jobs, and a few guns, you can go out and conquer the city as you see fit.

Live Show: End your week with Backlog & GunGrave
Overdose

Live Show: End your week with Backlog & GunGrave Overdose screenshot

Hooray for Friday! I've started playing GunGrave: OverDose on Backlog, the continuing quest to finish a game collection. So far, so good. We're gunning down people and pummeling them with a coffin while seeking out whatever this SEED thing is the anime cutscenes keep going on about. There's also a ghost named Rocketbilly Redcadillac. Pretty awesome all around.

You can come join me right now as I play more GunGrave: Overdose. Backlog airs every weeknight at 8pm Pacific, right after Mash Tactics. Come hang out with me and the goons in the chat over on Destructoid's Justin.tv channel!

Ecotopia Review (Facebook)

Gamezebo Rating: 50

Ecotopia is what would happen if you took that part of a management sim game where you have to clean up your property and turned that into the entire game. It?s a game where you exclusively pick up trash, clean up decrepit properties, and upgrade run-down buildings. It?s an interesting concept for a game that wants to make its players environmentally aware, but it runs into the usual problem that plagues entertainment with educational or ecological themes: when you make an entertainment product with any goal besides being entertaining, then the entertainment value of the product inevitably suffers. To put it differently, Captain Planet isn?t anyone?s favorite superhero and it?s hard to believe Ecotopia would ever be someone?s favorite game.

You'll love the bar banging in MX vs ATV Alive

MX vs ATV Alive is the latest in the off-road racing series set to offer more features than any of the previous games. Best of all? It's just going to be $40! There's a lot to the game so I talked to the Lead Designer Elliott Olson about all that we can expect.

I then got a hold of spokesmodel Summer Daniels to talk about some more features about the game and it had nothing to do with her being extremely attractive which would in turn make all of you play the video. Nope. Not that reason at all.

Friday Night Fights: Feel Better, Sony! edition

Friday Night Fights: Feel Better, Sony! edition screenshot

Oh man.

This has been a rough week for Sony. With the network being down, and now a possible class action lawsuit, I really feel bad for the guys over there. The PS3 FNF crew was hoping that it would be back up in time for this week's gaming, but sadly it seems the wait continues. Let's hope the issues get resolved soon!

The 360 crew still has FNF plans, which include Mortal Kombat and Monday Night Combat. If you have a 360, take part in this week's Friday Night Fights! Check below for a list of community games and their hosts!

New to FNF? Read this: Each week, a bunch of Destructoid readers and usually an editor or two get together to play some videogames online. Basically, this is what Friday Night Fights are all about.

The planning for FNF takes place in the forums, where community members volunteer to host by posting their information (gamertag, time to meet up, game, etc.) in the forum post corresponding to the system they're interested in playing on.

Then, every Friday, reminder posts for those who don't read the forums regularly go up in the community blogs section all thanks to a dedicated group of cool individuals. And for everyone who wants their info all in one place, they have got my weekly recap posts to look forward to between 4:30 - 5:30 PM EST.

Now that you're here, just scan the list below and find a game you want to play. All that's left to do after that is to join the match by contacting the host below using any means necessary. For Wii, you might have to be a little creative, but for 360/PS3 a simple "invite me" message will be fine.

The names on the left are our Destructoid handles, while the ones on the right are our online handles (PSN IDs, for example). Don't see a game you want to play? Feel free to post a comment offering to take up hosting duties yourself.

Latest SSX dev diary talks updating characters

Latest SSX dev diary talks updating characters screenshot

Can't see the video? Click here

Another wild SSX developer diary appears, complete with wingsuits and everything. This time, the developers discuss how they take beloved characters and bring them up to date.

And yeah, they're still focusing on Elise. Honestly, I'm just going to nod my head pleasantly here until we see more (as in, something) on Psymon. Dude is crazy, y'know?

If it's pre-alpha footage you're after, skip to the final few seconds for a quick glimpse. SSX isn't out until next year, after all.
