Dreamland Online Review (Facebook)

Gamezebo Rating: 60

Free MMOs are understandably trying to get their piece of the Facebook gaming craze, since even a game a few years old typically offers more content and features than the average social game. Dreamland Online is one such older game trying to rejuvenate itself through Facebook, though its integration with the platform is far more extensive than usual. Although IGG also offers a client-based version of the game, the Facebook version is fully playable as a browser-based game. The only requirement is that players download and install the Kalydo Player plug-in.

Sony tackles your concerns in new PSN Q&A

Sony tackles your concerns in new PSN Q&A screenshot

The PlayStation Network security breach scandal continues, with Sony now providing more answers for some of users' oft-asked questions over on the PlayStation Blog. According to the company, "The entire credit card table was encrypted and we have no evidence that credit card data was taken."

On the other hand, "The personal data table, which is a separate data set, was not encrypted, but was, of course, behind a very sophisticated security system that was breached in a malicious attack." The Q&A also offers advice on how to figure out which, if any, of your credit cards are attached to PSN.

"We are working on a new system software update that will require all users to change their password once PlayStation Network is restored. We will provide more details about the new update shortly," the post continues.

"Our employees have been working day and night to restore operations as quickly as possible, and we expect to have some services up and running within a week from yesterday. However, we want to be very clear that we will only restore operations when we are confident that the network is secure."

PSA: PAX Prime 3-day badges are selling fast

PSA: PAX Prime 3-day badges are selling fast screenshot

The official twitter account for Penny Arcade Expo has broken the news. "I don't want to alarm anyone, but based on current sales trends, we're going to sell out of PAX Prime 3-day badges in about ... 15 days."

I'm of the opinion that you don't need to visit the show floor all three days to have a good time. That said, I wanted to toss this message your way, on the chance that you were curious about how quickly these passes were moving. They're certainly moving, all right.

Remember, PAX Prime starts on August 26 this year. Plan accordingly!

Can't see the video? Click here

It may be pissing off clueless cops, but Call of Juarez: The Cartel is looking like it may be fun, in an utterly ludicrous way.

It's a little early to tell how good this'll turn out, but I'm willing to give it a chance. The concept is just stupid enough to work, so we'll see. Check out the trailer for yourself and let us know what you think.

CD Projekt: Let Witcher 2 hit PC, then we'll talk
console

CD Projekt: Let Witcher 2 hit PC, then we'll talk console screenshot

With the PC launch of The Witcher 2 rapidly approaching, we're starting to see more questions about those fabled console versions pop up. So, how 'bout some answers? Surprisingly, CD Projekt was willing to divulge details to Eurogamer.

"Production wise -- coordination and scheduling and budgeting -- this is a new project for us," says senior producer Tomasz Gop of a console version. "But it's not going to be a completely different game: it's going to be the same storyline and everything. We're definitely not a team that can do multiple projects at the same time."

For now, it's still technically unofficial, but Gop assures that "We won't wait to see how well The Witcher 2 does on PC first. After we release The Witcher 2 on PC we just sit down with Excel or Project and make schedules, make plans. Then we will be totally glad to announce what is coming out."
