ThinkGeek's iCade raised a few eyebrows when it was first announced. For iPad owners who have always longed for one of those miniature arcade cabinets -- the kind that can fit on a table but are still pretty dang expensive -- this may be a dream come true.

Simply plug an iPad into the fancy dock, and through the technological voodoo of Bluetooth, you can use the physical controls to play games. The iCade won't be available until early June, but you can sign up to be emailed when they are ready for purchase.

Retailers have not been shy about promoting their deals for the Nintendo 3DS launch this weekend. Retailer Kmart joins in the fun this evening with this notice of a pretty good deal for launch week.

Buy a Nintendo 3DS at Kmart from March 27th through April 2nd and save $25 instantly on a 3DS game. That means that many games will be about $15 after discount. Kmart lists these games as eligible for a discount: Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, Madden NFL Football, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Shadow Wars, Asphalt 3D, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D, The Sims 3, and Rayman 3D. That said, they use the phrase "not limited to," so I'm sure you can get the discount on just about any title.

Man, that's a steal. You don't want to know what I payed for the Japanese versions of these games.

Rumor: Hideo Kojima to announce two games at E3 screenshot

UK magazine PSM3 says that Hideo Kojima is going to announce more than one game at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. They say:

MGS maestro Hideo Kojima's got some big announcements for E3 in June: one a quasi-logical step for an existing game, the other...

So, Metal Gear Solid 5? Finally? The timing would be right, I'd say. But as G4 says, why would they announce two games at once? Wouldn't an MGS5 announce overshadow any other announcement.

The only other one that would hold up in my mind is a Zone of the Enders announcement. In that case I'll sh*t my pants with excitement. Regardless of where you are, you will hear me scream in joy from Los Angeles. He did say that a third game was coming. E3 is just around the corner, so we'll know soon enough.
