Crunk Golf I need a drink ...

Lil' Jon, the rapper who is more well known for Dave Chapelle's spoof of his mannerisms than his actual musicianship, somehow got it into his head that lending his unfortunate "grill" to a cell phone golf game would be an excellent career move. Following in the footsteps of flash in the pan socialite-turned-harlot Paris Hilton, Mr. Jon (Mr. Lil'?), believes this to be an extension of his already popular brand (?) and sees it as an opportunity to further his creativity into other realms of the multimedia stratosphere.

Also, he plans to cash in on 14 year old white kids who adore the fact that he makes their parents nervous.

Not only is the golf game, Crunk Golf, in the works, but he also has three other upcoming cell phone games, Hot Secretary, Stackin' Bling, and Pool Hall Hustle.

It's news like this that killed Johnny Cash.

Get your own cover for Wii Sports

The people over at The Cover Project have gone and made a custom cover for Wii Sports, so that we all can enjoy it. They're offering two covers, which run about 3.5 megs, and look very nice. The only problem is getting a white case at this point. You can order them directly from Nintendo for $1.50 for one case, $6 for 5, or $13 for 10. 4ColorRebellion has a better suggestion, though, saying that you should go to Target and get their one cent Wii preview DVD that comes in a nice white case.  Now I've got something to do when I get home for Thanksgiving: pick up a dozen or so copies of this DVD so that I can have a surplus of Wii cases.

Ze Germans blame video games for school shooting
(Update!)

Germany; land of schnitzel, steins, and beautiful blond haired, blue eyed women who sound like they're giving orders when they tell you they love you. It's also now the setting of a scene familiar to those of us in the US, a homocidal rampage within the halls of a school. 

On Monday, in the western German town of Emsdetten, an 18 year old man stormed into the Scholl secondary school and opened fire. He wounded 27 people before he finally killing himself.

Some would attribute such actions to his being disturbed and needing vast psychological and emotional counseling, but the German authorities (who, like, TOTALLY heart America), have decided that violent video games are what led to the youth's total meltdown and subsequent attack.
