You just know the casual onlookers are scratching their heads at that headline.
SoulEye and other talented individuals have come together to bring us PPPPPPowerup, a soundtrack made up of remixes from VVVVVV. If you haven't heard the original tracks, you are missing out on some of the very best videogame music in recent years. Expect similar auditory pleasure from these new tunes.
Physical CDs and downloads are currently being offered over here.

The rumor that Silent Hill would be delving into multiplayer has been shot down by Silent Hill: Downpour producer Devin Shatsky. Writing in to Hell Descent, he says that the original comments were either taken "completely out of context" or were perhaps "lost in translation."
Continuing, Shatsky explains "We were (many moons ago) investigating a separate multiplayer mode, but that was quickly extinguished when we costed it out and determined how much resource time it would detract from the core single-player experience."
This seems to be the common sentiment for a lot of games being pressured by current trends into including multiplayer. Silent Hill may eventually expand beyond one player, but it's not happening anytime soon.

You might remember that we reviewed Knights Contract a few weeks ago, and I called it a broken, sloppy, dull, pointless waste of space. I urged you not to buy it, but apparently I was mistaken -- given its current price at Zavvi, I may have advised you out of buying a sound investment.
Yep, that's Knights Contract being sold for the handsome price of £117.85, which would be around $191.69 in the US. Clearly, the discs were printed on magic fairy dust, able to make men young and turn wishes into unicorns. No doubt Ted Turner has already bought the remaining supply, so you're out of luck.
Damn ... if only I hadn't tossed mine into the lake with tears streaming hotly from my eyes.
[Thanks, Kieran!]

When EA Sports put up the Madden NFL 11 cover for voting, it was pretty obvious that neither Reggie Wayne nor Jared Allen had any real chance of winning over Super Bowl XLIV MVP Drew Brees. This time around, the field is wide open: EA is letting you vote on 32 potential Madden NFL 12 cover candidates, one from each NFL team. Voting will take place on the website for ESPN's SportsNation, which airs weekdays at 4 PM ET on ESPN2 and will be conducting interviews with the candidates throughout the voting period.
The athletes have been placed into a seeded bracket -- the top seeds for the NFC and AFC are Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers, respectively -- and each of the 16 matchups pits divisional rivals against each other. Rodgers faces Detroit Lions DT Ndamukong Suh; Brees is up against QB Josh Freeman of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Dallas Cowboys LB DeMarcus Ware will try to take down Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick.
Voting begins today; each round will last for approximately one week, with the final showdown coming during the week of April 18-26. SportsNation will reveal the winner live on its April 27th broadcast.
Which NFL star will you choose? Head over to www.ESPN.com/MaddenVote to cast your vote.
