NEWS - THQ has released a new video for Saints Row: The Third in their series about cherished memories from Steelport, this one about jet surfing. Basically, they try to balance on top of a military jet as it attempts barrel rolls across the Steelport skyline. Thankfully they have a "do not try this at home" type warning at the beginning of the video, because really, who in their right mind would try something like this in real life, right? Um...right?

NEWS - EA and Bioware have announced the Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector's Edition with an unboxing video of its contents. Recent collector's editions with other games have been a little light on actual content, but this combination of included content seems to be worth the price of admission. The original Mass Effect for me was a bit underwhelming, but the sequel was one of my favorite games in recent years. VG Music: Gradius Gaiden Stage 1

This song is an awesome technorock track that uses laser-synth sounds to mimic the icy nature of Stage 1 in Gradius Gaiden.

Gradius Gaiden was only imported to America on the PSP Gradius Collection. I recommend downloading the pSX v1.12 (or higher) emulator and the .bin and .cue files for rom. It's well worth the hassle to emulate this one.

Latest Battlefield 3 PC update gets detailed screenshot

Battlefield 3 didn't have the smoothest launch ever, with problems such as online passes not working straight out of the box, PC users finding ways to play Battlefield 3 on PC without the use of EA's Origin service and the fact that the flashlight was too bloody bright.

According to DICE, they've been hard at work getting as many issues fixed as possible and will be shooting off a "significant" patch for Battlefield 3 on PC -- console versions of it will follow soon after, because Microsoft and Sony need to check things out first. It's going to be improving everything from weapons balancing, general stability, squad control and that "negative mouse acceleration" thing some PC users have been experiencing.

As for the whole cheating/boosting situation, DICE simply says to keep reporting them as you see 'em and made no mention of any implementations to stomp on currently known boosting techniques. They could just be playing dumb, though, and would rather surprise the hell out of everyone when said techniques no longer work come next week.

I've been playing a ton of Kinect games for review lately, and one of these is Ubisoft's Self Defense Training Camp. The game aims to teach you a variety of techniques that you can employ to get yourself out of a dangerous situation.

I found the whole experience to be thoroughly enlightening and wanted to put together a video which showcased how there's a way to escape absolutely any problem.
