If you thought you'd seen the smallest food mankind was capable of making... think again, because I've got pictures that prove otherwise. The impossibly tiny food at Capcom's Fright Club last night has provided us with enough fodder to base an entire live show on, and we damned well better take advantage of it.
Miniature food notwithstanding, we've got plenty of exciting announcements today! Of course, Resident Evil 6 is a thing that's officially happening (I did an impressions video with Anthony Carboni about it yesterday), Resident Evil: Revelations got its own demo on the 3DS eShop yesterday, and Diablo III is definitely not on track for a February 1 release date. Later on, Max shows off some new trailers for Darksiders II and Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition, and I give my impressions on the two hours I spent with Kid Icarus: Uprising.

While all those in North America have been enjoying Trine 2 on the PlayStation 3, others in Europe have been waiting for Frozenbyte's platform-puzzle title to hit their respective PlayStation Store. If you fit that description, I've got some bad news for you; Atlus is having to delay Trine 2, "a short while longer."
While neither Atlus or Frozenbyte went into why exactly this has been happening -- the game should have launched alongside its North American counterpart back in late December -- they did offer this rather reassuring apology:
"We sincerely apologize for the frustration this ongoing delay has caused our European fans, as it is a frustration we (ATLUS and Frozenbyte) also share. We assure the community that everything within our influence is being done to release Trine 2 for PAL PS3 system users as soon as possible, and we humbly ask for our fans' continued patience and understanding."
After reading that, I feel like giving Atlus a hug; they sound so sincere.

PC modders will add anything to games, and usually the stuff that we actually want doesn't come out right away. What does come out are nude mods, oversized weapons, and a Me Gusta moon. The newest of these crazy mods changes dragons to... ponies.
Yup. Someone took the time to change all of the dragons to My Little Ponies. I'm not sure if Bronies think it is cool, but the video is hilarious to watch.

Hot on the heels of their first content update, BioWare have revealed their plans for the future of Star Wars: The Old Republic in a new video. The last update -- Rise of the Rakghouls -- was only the first part, and players can look forward to the final part of this set of new content soon. Along with that BioWare are adding two new PvP Warzones, which I'm personally very excited about. The Warzone PvP is fun right now, but it's a bit sparse.
The Legacy System is also being expanded. At the moment it's just a surname shared across all characters, but it will become a family tree, with members of that family receiving extra benefits. Like I don't already have enough reasons to make alts. Guilds will be receiving some work as well, such as the inclusion of a guild bank. Finally, the UI will be made more customizable, this is something that has been sorely needed. It's far too cumbersome as it is. I've still not played through all of the original content, let alone Rise of the Rakghouls, so it looks like I'm going to continue to have plenty of occupy myself with.

Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten feels like it was designed by people who really understand what makes the tower-defense genre enjoyable, and how it can be improved. Elements normally found in role-playing games are present here, and there's an intriguing story -- yep, this one is dangerous.
If you're vaguely compelled by the trailer, be sure to try the in-browser demo, which allows you to export save data. Defender's Quest is being sold for $6.99 and that includes all future game updates. The developers were even nice enough to offer a coupon code (DESTRUCT). Use it this month to knock a dollar off the price tag.
