NEWS - Wargaming.net released some screenshots today from their upcoming MMO World of Tanks. This move was made mainly to display what they can create using the BigWorld Technology suite. Of course, BigWorld is excited about their tech being used to create the game. It certainly looks pretty for a free-to-play tank game. Take a look!

Namco keeps busy at the App Store with updates
and releases

NEWS - In conjunction with Namco’s Tinseltown Dreams that we announced some time ago, Namco released yet another update for their shooter title in the App Store. Garters & Ghouls was released last Halloween, and received a “Winter Nightmare” update recently. Now they’re offering a digital comic based on the game at the App Store, made by IDW.

The most recent update to Garters & Ghouls contains a new adventure mode as well as two new survival mode areas. Read on for the details, and check the screenshots of the game and the digital comic below.

Shadowsinthenyte is a community member who loves to craft. She has an Etsy store filled with crafted goodness containing items such as Super Mario Mushrooms, Pokeballs and various hats. Her latest creation is a videogame themed scarf that is too good not to share.

Shadow crafted this awesome Yoshi scarf which has Yoshi's tongue wrapping around the wearers neck. It's amazingly cute and a little scary all at the same time. The scarf is 72 inches long and Shadow has three of them on sale for $45.00 over on her Etsy.

DLC, Schmee-El-Ce. A recent remark by THQ's Huw Benyon seemed to spell doom for hopefuls that wanted more to purchase more Metro 2033 after purchasing Metro 2033, but a recent Facebook update has put the brakes on that. In a recent official Facebook update, a 4A Games representative confirmed DLC plans.

It's all in that Title Update you may or may not have updated. "There's a couple of reasons for [the Title Update] -- primarily it's to allow the game to accept DLC further down the line -- with the game now finished we have been turning our thoughts to potential DLC."

The rep went into just a wee bit of detail about what to expect. "We've got some ideas," the post reads, "but nothing we can talk about right now other than to say it won't be new SP content, 'missing levels' or anything like that. It's something we're only just starting production on."

No new metro tunnels, no problem -- especially if 4A Games adds in colorful enemies like cannibalistic nuclear-mutated rats. Think about it.

As announced on the PlayStation Blog by Dylan Cuthbert of Q-Games, PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap is getting a spring release on PlayStation Network. To be frank, it's not really my style of game, but I am glad to see it getting made. I'm happy for you guys who are happy about Racers, if that makes any sense.

As for the second part of the headline, Cuthbert also brought word of an impending UMD release for PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe; admittedly, it would have been cooler if "monsters" (Ghoulies, Mothra, It, etc) got together to come out with a UMD. *shakes fist at misleading character limit*

I've probably put more time into Monsters Deluxe than just about anything else released on PSP in the last year or two. You can expect to see it in stores for $19.99 starting April 27. If you haven't downloaded the game from PSN yet, it comes highly recommended.
