Guild beta launches for Warhammer Online

NEWS - Number of closed beta applicants: Topping 750,000. Number of guild applications: Over 10,000. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning has just selected the guilds making the final cut for the last phase of its closed beta test. WAR recently added guild and heraldry features, as well as "Public Quests" (ongoing drop-in/drop-out missions), new dungeons, scenarios, UI updates, and plenty more. I anticipate that the MMO rivalries will only intensify between Age of Conan and Warhammer Online as WAR's impending launch date marches near.Comment

NEWS - Red Octane has the finalized website up and running for Guitar Hero: On Tour. Nifty features of the site include downloadable content such as messenger icons and wall papers. There are videos, pictures, and even a demo for the game and a complete store that sells copies of the game and accessories such as the stickers that cover the fret controllers. I should warn you though that the site plays a continous track list of 15 sec sample songs which vary in genre so keep that in mind when you visit the site.Comment
