My God! Why didn't we catch this sooner? It's so obvious! The clues were right there the whole time!

Konami was trying to keep the dirty truth a secret, but it didn't do a good enough job. Through the power of JOURNALISM, user Giromancy from the Silent Hill Heaven forums has acquired photographic evidence proving beyond any shadow of a doubt that the original Silent Hill is a remake of the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic Kindergarten Cop.

It makes sense that an undercurrent of sexuality runs throughout the Silent Hill series. Kinergarten Cop was the movie that taught the world that "boys have a penis, girls have a vagina" and questioned who your "daddy" is and what does he "do." Those themes clearly carried over into the game.

Tripwire Interactive is staying true to their mod maker roots by releasing the full Red Orchestra 2 Mod SDK today. If you own the game, you can start tinkering by downloading the SDK from the tools section on Steam. A limited pre-release SDK had been made available to select modders at an earlier date, and they have already been hard at work with custom maps and total conversions.

Check out a few of the total conversions that are currently in the works: Pacific theater mod Rising Storm, Vietnam mod In Country: Vietnam, and World War I mod Iron Europe. If you're interested in modding yourself, or on the lookout for custom maps, a safe bet is to also keep an eye on the Tripwire forum modding thread.

MAGFest is the gift that keeps on giving, apparently. Why wasn't I there? Because reasons.

So there's this band, Bit Brigade, whose members I will now consider my close, personal friends for life despite never having met them, and they performed the Mega Man 2 soundtrack on stage. Not that special, you may say. Everybody and their dogs play Mega Man 2 music, you may say. Yes, but do those other guys perform in sync with a video of a person playing the actual game live? I didn't think so!

When Mega Man enters Flash Man's domain, the Flash Man theme is performed. When Mega Man gets a weapon, the "weapon get" theme is performed. And this isn't some half-assed run either, but a glitch-less speedrun with very few mistakes. It's damned impressive, if marred ever so slightly by the fact that the game is being played on easy mode. Pssssh!

Forty-four minutes of nonstop action, guys! All is forgiven! That payer performs with the confidence of a seasoned porn vet! A room full of glowing eyes ain't gonna break his stride!

NEWS - THQ has announced that on January 17th, GenkiBowl VII, the first downloadable mission pack for Saints Row: The Third, will be available for download. The pack will include such mind-bending games as Sexy Kitten Yarngasm, Sad Panda Skyblazing, Apocolypse Genki, and Super Ethical PR Opportunity. Um...why haven't I gotten this game yet?

The Darkness II finally has a demo on the way screenshot

2007 doesn't seem like it was that long ago, but it's been almost five years since The Darkness was released. Finally, its sequel is definitely on the way and 2K Games has announced a demo for The Darkness II that you can look forward to. Here's a few dates you'll want to remember:

Tuesday, January 17th: The demo will release worldwide for Xbox Live Gold subscribers
Tuesday, January 24th: It will release worldwide for the rest of XBL members, Steam users and North American PSN members.
Wednesday, January 25th: PSN members in Europe and Asia can finally check out the demo.

Other than that, you can wait in anticipation for The Darkness II to release on February 7th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Who's excited to take control of Jackie Estacado and The Darkness once again?

Now that you've received a peek into Binary Domain's story from General Director Toshihiro Nagoshi himself earlier today, why not check out the game in action for yourself? "Bigger Than You Think" is the newest trailer for Binary Domain, and this one is all about the story. It has a very obvious I, Robot and Terminator-esque feel to it.

In this trailer you are introduced to the setting and characters that try to investigate a seemingly regulated world of robot technology, but there's one evil company that has taken it too far. Now, the robots are self aware and causing all sorts of trouble. Yeah, we've certainly seen this song and dance time and time again, but I have total faith in the Yakuza team to tell a story that feels fresh and compelling. Binary Domain hits store shelves February 28th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

In its divine wisdom, Screen Gems has decided that it's not enough to give the world yet another Resident Evil movie by Paul W.S. Anderson, but that we would all be better off with a title that captures the true dynamic essence of a fifth entry in a quality series: Re5ident Evil: Retribution.

According to an interview on Collider.com, the new film will feature Las Plagas because that way the infected can "run around, ride motorbikes, and shoot machine guns." Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong, and Barry Burto will make an appearance due to popular request, and they are lifting some driving/turret sequence out of Resident Evil 5.
