NEWS - The more I see of Combat Arms the more I like it. Here's some gameplay footage from the Roadkill map. It looks like a meaty, old-fashioned shooter that knows how to poke fun at itself. I just might have to check this game out--with so many people playing Modern Warfare 2 it's hard to find a balanced game, or one without a bunch of 12-year-olds cussing each other out.

NEWS - Ready at Dawn Studios is working on a software suite for video game developers packed with all the features they need while integrating all aspects of the project. Think of this software packaged as a Snickers bar; peanuts, caramel, and nugget all contained in a yummy chocolate shell. The name of this delicious development tool is Ready at Dawn Engine and it is now Jonathan Nagel's job as Sales and Marketing director to package it and sell it to developers. I took a look at some of the information R@D has posted online about the engine. It sounds like a nice bundle but since it's new and doesn't have as much clout as, say, the Unreal engine it will probably be picked up by smaller and independent developers. Prove me wrong Mr. Nagel.
