Ubisoft's E3 press kit only included one screen for the mighty Assassin's Creed 2. But CVG asked around and finally got hold of a few more. And we think you'll agree that it's looking a bit tasty.

Hi-Rez Studios, the developers of Global Agenda, today recognized the Agents vs. Elves project, an on-line community-driven initiative designed to settle once and for all a question as old as the massive, multi-player online (MMO) gaming genre itself: "How would a fantasy elf fair against a super agent in a futuristic sci-fi world?"
Agents vs. Elves is better known amongst its burgeoning contributor base as the "No Elves! Movement." Artists and writers are volunteering their own work for inclusion on the project's Facebook page. Details and a teaser trailer are available at http://www.agentsvselves.com.
"The debate of how a fantasy elf would fair in a futuristic sci-fi world is nearly as old and epic as the never-ending conflict between pirates and ninjas," said Todd Harris, Executive Producer of Global Agenda. "I see the Community embracing this Elven challenge in the same way that David attacked Goliath - head on, in full view of the enemy, with nothing but a strong knowledge of the foe's weakspot and advanced weapons technology."
Media and fans may download the NO ELVES! Evangelism and Media kit from the Agents vs. Elves website. This kit contains the materials required for prospective Global Agenda agents to spread the No Elves! movement, including a variety of art and video assets.ca-pub-5833246175841206

I'm sure we've all wanted to shoot our brothers at some point, but 11-year-old De-Andre Finley went that extra mile, accidentally killing his 9-year-old sibling after a videogame row ended with terminal consequences.
"The younger brother allegedly got mad because he got beat at some video games and got the gun," explains Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson. The two struggled over the firearm, and it allegedly went off accidentally, killing the younger boy. The father of the two was outside mowing the lawn at the time of the incident.
The police say they can "live with" De-Andre's version of the story, since the gun was too heavy for the boy to properly aim and fire with malice aforethought.
It's not believed that De-Andre will be charged, due to his young age and the fact that it "appeared to be an accident anyway." Also, to be fair, the younger brother started it.

If there was one thing we could take away from E3 09, it's that the videogame industry has well and truly fallen for this "motion control" fad, believing it to be the answer to all their prayers. Every platform now has its own gimmicky motion controller, and Microsoft believes its conceptually impressive Project Natal will rule them all.
"If we'd just come out with something that looks and feels like the Nintendo Wiimote, I think you could have fairly criticised us and said it was derivative. That's not the path we wanted to go down," explains MS' Shane Kim. "We could have done that, but we wanted to reinvent the industry and revolutionise home entertainment. That's what we will achieve with Project Natal.
"The most important thing is this has nothing to do with Nintendo and Sony. This has everything to do with unlocking the potential of the industry and addressing the many millions of people -- the 60 per cent of house holds who don't have a videogame console at all. That's the real opportunity for us."
Yeah. You know what I think of when I see all these motion controllers? I think of the Sega Genesis Activator. While the technology is evolving, we seem to be conceptually devolving. These new controllers smack of the same add-ons and gimmicks that eventually drowned the Genesis and confused the consumers. I'm sure Natal will be interesting, but introduced so late into the Xbox 360's lifecycle, I can't see it being more than another Activator. At least the Activator was compatible with all the system's games. When it worked.
