What happens when jmtb02's Elephant series and his Four Second series love each other very, very much? Control your elephantine avatar through a number of quick mini-games in rapid-fire succession. Microgame collections like this one tend to encourage the player to mash buttons, any buttons, so Obey the Game really innovates in the way that it requires the player to take a moment and wait for further instructions.

Granddaddies of the genre itself, Konami is set to bring a new and original rhythm game to the DS, titled Utacchi. The name is a mashup of the Japanese word for song, "uta," and the distinctly less Japanese word for touch, "touch."
Despite having its own product page, very little is known about the game thus far, as few details are given in its description beyond noting that it's played by touching things in synch with music.
However, drawing conclusions based on absolutely nothing but the logo image above, I am going to guess that this is a game in which an evil, sparkling squid monster with the head of a frog is eating people's hearts, and you must use the power of music to put a stop to his reign of terror. And if turns out that it's not, then I'm off to file a copyright, because that sounds awesome.

It was announced last week that Splinter Cell: Conviction would receive a co-op mode and now we have learned more details about the story behind it.
Last week we learned that Splinter Cell: Conviction would be including a co-op mode when it is released next year and now we have gotten more details on the mode thanks to OXM UK. The co-op mode should take you about 6 hours to complete and it will be a prologue to the main story-line. It will take place two months before the events in the single player campaign. The players will take on the role of Daniel Sloane-Suarez (call sign Archer) and Mikhail Loskov (codename Kestrel). The two characters will apparently not trust or like each at first but you will build their relationship over the 6 hour campaign. Ubisoft will also include challenge modes, called Third Echelon Missions. These will contain six different maps and they will be based on the four levels from the co-op campaign.
Splinter Cell: Conviction was already looking good but this is also news that Ubisoft will be adding even more value into the franchise reboot. It will hit store shelves on February 23rd for Xbox 360 and PC.

NEWS - Publisher 505 Games U.S. and developer Artificial Mind and Movement unveiled Naughty Bear earlier today. Offering a "...unique bled of comic mischief and astonishingly bad behaviour..." the gameplay of Naughty Bear has not been clearly defined. All indications point to Naughty Bear being a 3D shoot 'em up not unlike the recently released Fairytale Fights or an older 3D shooter Fur Fighters. The story tells of a misfit bear, named Naughty Bear, who lives on an island who's main inhabitants are bears. It's bad enough that the other bears don't let him join in any reindeer bear games, but when Naughty isn't invited to a birthday party he goes all Rambo on the whole island. The release of Naughty Bear is slated for some time in 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. For more info check out the publisher's website or just click...
