All the platform publishers touted some big sales during November, particularly over the Black Friday thing people get so excited about. Turns out the talk wasn’t just trash -- the latest hardware sales numbers are down YRY, but the publishers as a whole still moved a wicked amount of units during the month according to the latest NPD numbers.
The Nintendo DS took the crown, selling 1.70M units for whatever reason. Nintendo also nabbed the second highest sales of the month with 1.26M Wii units sold. The Xbox 360 and PS3 lagged behind, selling 819.5K and 710.4K respectively while wishing it were the DS, the PSP moved around 293.9K units.
And if that’s not enough numbers for your eye holes, check this: the PS2 sold big again to the tune of 203.1K. Who doesn't own this thing yet?
