The Halo Reach hype machine begins

The Halo Reach hype machine begins screenshot

Geoff Keighley was a guest on Major Nelson's podcast recently where he had nothing but glorious hype for Halo Reach. The first trailer for Reach is premiering during the Spike VGAs this weekend and Geoff confirms that the trailer will be all in-game stuff: "At the VGAs we’re actually going to be able to go down on the planet Reach and see this game for the first time."

Geoff goes on to add that Halo Reach will be one of 2010's biggest game:

“I think it’s going to be the biggest game of next year by far. Folks loved ODST and thought it was great, but when people see the huge leap forward Bungie’s taking with Reach… Everyone I’ve talked to that’s been on the team and seen it is incredibly excited about that game.”

I know I'm in the minority here at Destructoid (BIZARRO WORLD LOL!), but I'm looking forward to Halo Reach. I loved what Bungie did with Halo 3: ODST and Reach is sounding like it will be on a whole new level of awesome.
