NEWS - Do you remember the old cartoon version of the Legend of Zelda from the late '80's? If so, I am sorry... if you don't remember, then you are lucky. It was bad... really, really bad. As bad as it was, it is a major landmark in the history of video games as it was one of the titles that made the transition from video game to television series. If, for some strange sadomasochistic reason you wish to relive the series again, it is now being hosted on Hulu. Feel free to punish yourself at your own will at this link...

NEWS - Divinity II – Ego Draconis released in North America just yesterday. If you haven’t picked up the game yet, or played around with the demo, you can take a look at this launch trailer for a look into the world of Rivellon.
In the RPG you’ll be able to customize your character as to which skills and strategies you want to utilize against the enemies in the game. Even more interesting, however, is the fact that you’ll not only be battling dragons but you’ll also be shape shifting into one.
I imagine the video can show you better than I can tell you, so look below to get a piece of the action.

Shortly after Sir Howard Stringer attempted to eat Taylor Swift (in full 3D) at Sony’s 2010 press conference, Kaz Hirai walked onto the poorly lit stage and revealed something Sony should have done a billion years ago: the company is integrating PSN IDs and some of its content across several of its products.
Starting next month, people will be able to use their PSN accounts to stream “100s” of PSN-available movies in HD and SD directly to their Sony Bravia and blu-ray devices, as well as their Vaios and Windows-enabled PCs.
This initiative will only be available in six countries initially.
So, in short, Sony is leveraging its PSN service and allowing for a universal login for those of us with more than a single Sony product in our homes. We’ve contacted the platform publisher to ask if a Sony-Internet-Capable shoe is on the horizon, because honestly, we really want to watch Armored on a shoe. Call it a dream. Or something.

At the Sony Electronics press conference at CES today, Kaz Hirai announced that this past holiday season was the most successful holiday for the PlayStation 3.
What that means is that following the last week of November, over 3.8 million units were sold worldwide. Sony is saying that's a 76% increase over the previous year, no doubt partly in fact due to the introduction of the slim PS3 model, along with the console's price drop.
According to Hirai, 1.7 million of the 3.8 million were sold in North America alone. Were among one of those new adopters? If so, what took you so long? Was it the price drop, the size drop, or the games?

NEWS - Oh, BioWare. How you love to tease and torment us with slow-approaching information on Mass Effect 2.
Today’s piece of information on the sequel to the action-RPG is on the Vanguard class. We’ve already had quite a few reveals on classes, but the info and videos don’t stop there.
The Vanguards make use of the infamous biotic abilities in Mass Effect, but also have the balance of weapon training making them close-range attackers. What is unique about their abilities, however, is the Charge attack in which the Vanguard can get to close proximity with their enemies for a good and hefty hit.
Their biotic abilities allow them to rage through all obstacles across the battlefield and plunge into their enemy. This ability can be used both for the offensive, as well as the defensive if you need a quick getaway.
If all else fails, you can always throw a Shockwave at enemy faces to get them out of hiding. You can see the Shockwave action in the screens below.
Hit the video for more details on the Vanguard class, courtesy of Christina Norman, and to see why the Charge attack is so cool and useful.
