Zoo Entertainment is trying something new with Wanted Corp, a shooter the company is putting out on PlayStation Network (with Move support) and PC this summer.

The main characters -- escaped fugitives turned bounty hunters who have found themselves on an alien planet -- are named Neal H. MadDogg and Irina Zimoy. To be frank, the former protagonist was what got me motivated to post about the game.

There will be some classic character toggling in single-player, with the option for co-op (on- and offline) present as well. Zoo has already pinned Wanted Corp down as a $10 game, which is nice to see.

I've been hearing an awful lot about Norse mythology lately, what with Thor opening this week and the obligatory licensed games being rushed to store shelves.

While the DS version looks potentially great -- it was developed by WayForward, makers of awesome -- I can see how all of this stuff would be a hard sell for many of you. I'll kindly point you toward Thor: Bring the Thunder!, a free web-based platform game.

It's basically what happens when you mash up Thor with Mega Man. Hardly a bad thing, all things considered. From what I have played so far, it seems like a fun little diversion -- check it out, if you get the chance.

Black Prophecy gets new missions...still free

NEWS - The folks at Gamigo have rolled out some new missions for those playing their free space combat MMO Black Prophecy. In addition to the new missions they've patched some issues including the performance of the game, damage distribution, and a host of other tweaks and fixes.

I haven't spent enough time with the game to make a judgment call yet but if you're looking for a space combat experience like Freespace or the old Wing Commander games it's worth checking out. Especially with JumpGate Evolution completely off the radar right now.

It's a good day for fans of Super Meat Boy: the Steam version has been given a level editor. You can create and upload one-off levels or entire chapters, and rate user-created content in the Super Meat World portal thanks to this new update.

To try the editor out for yourself, look under the Tools section of Steam, rather than launching Super Meat Boy itself. Even if you aren't able to come up with anything too creative, the community at large is already on the scene. Those guys and gals are rad. Much love!
