Modern Warfare 2 has a premium strategy guide,
seriously

Modern Warfare 2 has a premium strategy guide, seriously screenshot

Not content to have two special editions of the game itself, Modern Warfare 2 will also have a "Prestige Edition" strategy guide. Yeah, aren't we going just a little overboard with the whole "premium" thing now, guys?

Brady has revealed two versions of the official Modern Warfare 2 strategy guide, a normal one and a more expensive one. The main differences are the fact that the Prestige Edition is hardcover and includes information on how to obtain the game's Achievements and Trophies. Apparently that makes it worth £20 in the UK, while the inferior "Signature Edition" costs £13.

This is absolutely amazing, and I really don't know what else to say about it. Hit the jump for the press release.

Build A Mario Church For This Window [Art]

Stained glass is something Jewish kids can enjoy while guesting in their Catholic friends' cathedrals (like what happened to me on Sundays after sleepovers). If only all stained glass windows were this geeky.

This Mario Bros. mushroom was created by artist Radiance Art with over 80 individual pieces of glass. It's mounted in a 15-inch square zinc frame and you can pick it up on Radiance Art's Etsy page for $175 (USD).

Building a Church of Mario to put it in, however, will be the real drain on your wallet. Especially if you expand the concept to a Church of Nintendo and commission Radiance Art for Pac-Man and Zelda stained glass windows.

Dragon spotted in Magic: Tactics teaser trailer

Wizards of the Coast and SOE are partnering to take the classic paper game Magic: The Gathering in an unexpected videogame direction -- 3D strategy. We’re sure the cards will still have a role in Magic: The Gathering Tactics, but the above teaser suggests that this is the full-blown 3D realization that dorks have been thinking about since they purchased their first Goat card or collected that full set of foiled Lands.

The PC and PS3-bound title was announced yesterday afternoon, but we missed a spot in our coverage. Above is a teaser for the game, revealing a hair or two less than the announcement did. Still, there’s a dragon in it, as well as epic music, making it worth your time if you're a fan.

Tales of Vesperia PS3 Clothes Cost Money [Psn]

Namco Bandai has released clothing downloadable content for the characters in the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia. The outfits have hit the PSN, but how much do all of them cost?

Those wanting to purchase new outfits for all, open your wallets. Each costume is ¥300, and there are 9 characters for a grand total of ¥2,700 or US$29.75.

Granted, this isn't as outrageous as the DLC in Namco Bandai's iDOLM@STER, but $30 isn't exactly cheap!

PS3????? ?? ?????????????????????300? × 9?? ? 2700????? [?????]

Microsoft man mocks the idea of Facebook on a
game system

Microsoft man mocks the idea of Facebook on a game system screenshot

Eric Neustadter, Xbox Live operations manager, thinks that Facebook connectivity on the DSi is silly. He finds it a pointless idea, considering we have other, better alternatives for staying connected to social networks. Oh those silly games system and their pointless synergy. When will they learn?

"I find the in-game uses, okay, may be interesting, the out-of-game, hey, it's a camera, use it to connect to Facebook or whatever -- I don't find that at all interesting," says Neustadter, while criticizing the DSi. "Don't we all have phones that do that? Why do we need our gaming device to do that?"

Yeah, that's a really good point. Why do we need a gaming device to do that? Like the whole Xbox 360/Facebook thing for example. Why would anybody want that? What kind of idiotic company would come up with such a pointless and stupid thing? Good job Neustadter's company would never do such a thing ... oh ... oh wait.

LOL!

Japanese Final Fantasy Tactics concert will have
61 songs

Japanese Final Fantasy Tactics concert will have 61 songs screenshot

Remember the first time you booted up Square's PlayStation strategy RPG Final Fantasy Tactics? If you're like me, one of the most memorable things was the opening song. Hell, all the music was fantastic, wasn't it? If you ask me, THE Final Fantasy Tactics games have some of the best music in the business.

I'd kill to see this upcoming Japanese concert, kicking off on November 22nd. It's not an official Square Enix event, but that does not mean that it won't be good. What it lacks in officialness it makes up for in music. It features just about all of the game's soundtrack, leaving nothing to the imagination with its 61 songs. Luckily, they'll be in medley form. If not, that would be one long concert.

Taylor Swift Gets Sparklies In Band Hero [Clips]

The only thing missing from this behind the Band Hero scenes with Taylor Swift video is Kanye West. Yeah, bet you didn't see that joke coming a mile away.

In all non-meme-related seriousness, though, the video showcases the motion capture used to get Miley Cyrus's would-be rival rendered into the game. Apparently, the starlet requested sparklies and that's exactly what she got.

I imagine Kanye West would request a bottle of Hennessy if he were in the game. It'd be funny if instead he got a foot to insert in his mouth.

OK, I'm officially done bagging on Kanye now and will forget all about his crazy-bad behavior at the MTV Music Video Awards this year. Just for fun, though, how would you work a "I'ma let you finish" joke into this post?
