Mortal Kombat: Legacy continues to introduce us to all the major Kombatants from the Mortal Kombat universe. Episode 4 tells us the story of how Shao Kahn captured Sindel, the creation of Mileena and other sh*t we already know about this series.

I don't know about you, but I was expecting fights to the death in Mortal Kombat. Not all this backstory stuff that's been beaten into our heads since the early '90s. Even the new Mortal Kombat game retells EVERYTHING. I just want some good fights already.

The Electronic Arts-themed savings on Steam continue with a new round of deals, good for today only. For the time being, it's all about Need for Speed.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit ($14.99)

Need for Speed: Undercover ($2.50)

There's only one game that'll get me to cry out "Shut up and take my money!", and it's the one developed by Criterion Games. Nothing against the other two -- those are ridiculous prices -- but I don't have enough time for that much racing in my life.

We discovered last month that THQ had registered a few domain names tied to the Metro 2033 name. Well now THQ has confirmed that the sequel is on the way. It's going to be called Metro: Last Light and that's all the news we have on that.

This month is full of new add-ons for Yoostar 2 screenshot

Yoostar 2 is very much one of those games that can live or die by its post-release downloadable content. Thankfully for fans of the bizarre title, more is on the way.

Today Deep Silver announced that the company will be working with Square Enix to distribute Techland's Dead Island out to retailers in North and South America. Deep Silver is still publishing, Square Enix is just getting the game out to store shelves.

I asked Aubrey Norris, PR Czar at Deep Silver, why Square Enix is handling the distribution and it's due to Deep Silver not being large enough to work directly with retailers yet. "Retailers will only buy from companies that they do X amount of regular business with. Since [Deep Silver] is too small to have that, we need a distributor."

"A retailer won't buy from you unless you do X amount of business with them annually" Aubrey went on to tell me that "it's kind of part of establishing yourself as a publisher. You have to get to a certain level of volume before retailers will work with you directly."

I'm pretty sure Deep Silver will be able to reach the level they need with retailers considering how the entire Internet was talking about the chilling Dead Island trailer from a couple of months ago.
