Codemasters has released an all new batch of screenshots for Colin McRae: DiRT 2 and look great.
These batches of DiRT 2 screenshots keep looking better and better. I can't wait to get my hands on this game. The shots show off a lot of the different race events you will get to play in the final release. The original DiRT was a great game and the sequel looks to best the original in all areas. The visuals look unreal and has many people questioning whether these are actual in-game screenshots or not. I guess we will have to wait until September to see if Codemasters can pull it off.
Colin McRae: DiRT 2 is going to be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and the PC this September. Check out the new screenshots in our DiRT 2 gallery.

Add to myYahoo!Yahtzee decided which game is best - Prototype or InFamous - by judging pictures of the games' main characters wearing women's lingerie. No seriously.

Add to myYahoo!New Flash Game Development Blog Entry : Flash indie game interweb-mash-up : July 3, 2009
I was sick this past week (it's still lingering on), and today(actually July 4) is a USA holiday - a couple hundred yearsago some dudes in funky white wigs decided they didn't want to paytaxes to an island, I think it was Hawaii, but then again, I went topublic school, and played Atari non-stop, so it could have been theFalklands. We celebrate this by blowing shit up!So,this one will be shorter than usual, but I'll catch up next time.
Let's Start ByHighlighting A New Releases that caught my eye...
- Push is an awesomely retro, butvery unique in a modern puzzle game way
- Waterwerks is a really really fun, well made game. I'll never understand Kong ratings...
- TheDig is a little like Dig Dug, your kids will enjoy it, I'msure (don't tell them that you played a game like it in 1982 though).
- Daemons is a very well polishedgraphical adventure. It scared me though...
- Maze Roll is also an very nice, unique puzzle game...

So Colette just reminded me last night that Otakon is in like ... 2 weeks or something. What the hell. I'm not sure what made me think that it was further off, but now I'm excited. That, my friends, will be quite a Friday indeed. But it's not here yet. Still, today's a Friday, and that counts for something.
And tomorrow is the 4th of July, so most of us 'Murricans probably have something planned, right? You guys are gonna grill, right? Maybe have like ... corn on the cob and beer and hamburgers? Fruit salad? Can I come over?
If not, that's okay. I guess I could just go over to my sister's. She's got a pool. Or Hito's. He's got a house full of awesome shit. What to do. Here, watch this new Usavich episode while I think it over.
