Back in early August, an eBay seller put up an auction for an Xbox 360 console signed by former Alaska governess and 2008 Republican candidate for vice-president, Sarah Palin. The starting bid for this bit of culture clash? A cool $1.1 million.

The auction was quietly de-listed and we never bothered to post about it, deeming it the non-story that it is. But it's now the middle of the night, news is slow, the signed 360 has reared its head again (much like Palin herself keeps doing) and I really need to make a living somehow.

The 360 which boldly bears the signature of the woman who isn't afraid to "go rogue" has cropped up on Craigslist with a significant price reduction. The seller, whose advertisement text matches the one from the original eBay auction exactly, wants a mere $800 for the console which comes complete with its 60 GB hard drive.

That's a savings of over 99%!
