Splinter Cell: Conviction Will Feature Co-op

Splinter Cell Conviction Co-OpSplinter Cell: Conviction will feature a co-op multiplayer mode when it is released early next year.

Ubisoft is apparently going to give UK based PC Zone magazine a hands on demo of the co-op mode plus a new unannounced mode. CVG posted a story stating that the magazine teased the story in their latest issue. Very few details have been revealed at this point. The new Splinter Cell: Conviction issue will be released on December 23rd so we will have to wait until then to get more details. The last time co-op made an appearance in the franchise was in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory way back in 2005.

Splinter Cell: Conviction is going to be released on February 23rd for Xbox 360 and the PC.

Fake rock band to perform Rock Band concert for
charity

by: Chad Smith
NEWS - Ümloud! is an annual fund raising event that benefits Child's Play.  Child's Play is a pretty cool organization because it provides toys and games to Children's hospitals around the county.

If you want to call them "band members" the group Baby Dog Time will be performing at the event. To get everyone prepared for the show, Wired.com's video production team has put together this little video.

Personally, it does nothing for me but I'll be honest and say that I have a very big soft spot for charity events that help kids.  Having someone very close to me that is alive thanks to the Ronald McDonald house has encouraged me to always support events like these.

If you are in San Francisco and want to take part by performing on stage, you can click here.  Or you can attend the event just to donate and support the cause.  Without further ado, I bring you "Baby Dog Time"!
