Mr. Destructoid bobbleheads are back in stock! Unlike most bobbles, it is not forged of wimpy plastic. Mr. Destructoid is actually heavy enough to murder a small animal which results in maximum bobble inertia/pleasure, and comes shipped in a hermetic radioactive-green package which you'll likely have to destroy completely to pry the damn thing out of (what we refer to as making it snow). Expense it on the company: They're available right now for $19.95 plus shipping until, you know, we're totally sold out for another year or two. We only have 100 of them in stock and won't be producing any more this year, so if the wife says no make sure she understands that you'll be holding this over her head for at least another 12 months.
Not into bobbles? OK, FINE! Go buy a T-Shirt. 100% of the sale proceeds will go towards getting more of us to E3!

It looks like Gameloft wants to open up shop in The Big Easy. Do people in The Big Easy hate it when you call their city The Big Easy?
Gameloft hit a New Orleans job board with thirteen full-time job listings recently. Joystiq figured something was up, so they contacted the mobile developer. They didn't get much in the way of confirmation of a new studio:
Gameloft is currently recruiting in New Orleans for a variety of game development positions. We'll have more information about our exciting endeavors in New Orleans soon.
Thirteen new positions sounds like something new is opening up. Gameloft, if you do set up shop there, have me out for a visit. I want to eat your awesome food. I want some chocolate crawfish.

Today is the beginning of EA Week on Steam, so be on the lookout for new daily deals until May 9.
Currently, the discounts apply to all things Dragon Age. Joseph examined Dragon Age II in his review, and as far as the PC version goes, Josh shared his experience over here. Worth reading, if you aren't caught up.
All of these sales are located on this page. I'm personally holding out for Crysis -- as in, the original, not the fancy new one. I must send a frog to the moon.

Add to myYahoo!Sorry for the VERY late update today, my morning and most of the day disappeared into various time sinks. Here's our weekly roundup of new titles available to anyone with a console, a credit card and a little bit of bandwidth...
WiiWare -- Following a recent pattern, we see one new title and one free demo. BINGO PARTY Deluxe is a whole bunch of Bingo games, in digital form, for those who just can't get enough random filling of cards. There's also a free demo of Aksys' Games popular retro-style BIT.TRIP RUNNER.
Wii Virtual Console -- An unusual new title arrives -- Jaleco's RIVAL TURF! for the Super NES, one of many entries in the not-quite-Final Fight sweepstakes of the early 1990s.
DSiWare -- Three new titles arrive for the DSi, as Nintendo reportedly prepares to open the 3DS downloadable store in late May. A new episodic RPG series continues with the Rogue-like, randomly-generated dungeon crawl Anonymous Notes Chapter 2 - From the Abyss. Ikibago is a match-three puzzle game that dresses the basic idea up in a pirate theme. Picture Perfect Pocket Stylist lets you give daring new hairstyles to cartoon characters and/or photos of your friends.
XBox Live Arcade -- Three new games last week. NIN2-JUMP is an action platformer with an interesting shadow-puppet visual style, produced by CAVE Company, a well-regarded Japanese developer better known for bullet-hell shooters. Outland is a Prince of Persia-style action platformer with plenty of swordplay and a striking visual style. Trouble Witches Neo! is a side-scrolling HD arcade shooter from SNK Playmore.
PS3 on PSN -- Oddly, nothing new was released on this platform this past week.
PSOne Classics -- Nothing new here this week.

Destructoid posters are back once again! We've moved them over to our SplitReason store for the reasonable price of $9.95 each. You can get yourself the Destructoid logo poster or the beautiful "Living the Dream" poster created by our very own Mikey Turvey.
Our store is filling up with new content every month! We have a bunch of shirts including the new Squidbear shirt designed by Max Scoville. Plus we have stickers, patches and beanies too!

Why would Nintendo release The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D in small batches? It makes no sense to me, but that's what Japanese blog Sinobi says is happening. They've heard that Nintendo is shipping less than 150,000 at launch. Andriasang says that one guess was that Nintendo wanted to ship small to avoid bargain bin placement for their title. I saw Zelda: Spirit Tracks in bargain bins for awhile in Tokyo, so maybe there's something to this.
The same blog says that pre-orders have exploded following these reports of small shipments. I just checked Amazon Japan's Bestsellers list for gaming and this game's pre-order item is now #1 on that list.
Hopefully Nintendo isn't doing anything this fishy.

Let's be honest here: at its core, Endemol's hit show Deal or No Deal is simply a game about picking some random briefcases and hoping you win something. That might be suspenseful when there's a chunk of real money at stake, but it's a rough concept on which to build an enduring social game. While you can't go wrong here if picking random briefcases is your thing, the deal this title offers every other player is shady at best.

Pre-order customers on Amazon Germany for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will get a fancy Zelda-themed Nintendo 3DS bag with their order when it ships on June 17. So far it seems like Amazon.de is the only one throwing in this free bag as a bonus.
The bag, shown above, looks to be a shiny black case with a huge Ocarina of Time 3D logo on it. It's priced separately on the Amazon.de for 9.99 EUR. It's not that big of a deal, but I still want it. Hopefully Amazon.com will hook us up.
