The undisputed Game of the Forever will make its grand entrance on January 11, 2012. Cue music.

Are you ready to shatter a generation's worth of 8-bit spines with sick moves and stylish flair? You damn well better be, because Abobo don't play around.

As if that weren't enough, we are going to sit down and have a nice chat with the game's big daddy, Roger Barr of I-Mockery, on January 15. There will be punch, pie, and week-long kumite competition. Bolo's bringing the karaoke machine. It's gonna be a blast.

McFarlane has yet another line of new Halo: Reach figures to roll out sometime next month. The February launch is part of the Series 6 set for the Reach line and it includes the usual assortment of individual figures and boxed sets. The individual line will include Jun (unhelmeted), Kat (unhelmeted), Brute Major, Elite Zealot, Sabre Pilot and three other Spartans with various multiplayer armor and colors.

A Team Objectives 2-pack set is also coming, but it will not be coming in February and will instead be shipping in March right around the same time as the Halo: Anniversary Series 2 set launches. This box set will have three flags with a stand, five flaming skulls and a gravity hammer. You know, so you can do whatever it is you would do with action figure accessories. I'm not entirely sure what that would be, but I won't judge. Check out the gallery below to see if anything fancies your interest.

YouTuber rickonami has conceptualized high-definition versions of several old-school videogames such as Castlevania: Bloodlines and Contra, then he posted some fake teasers. These are fun experiments meant to tantalize us and stoke our HD remake desires.

His latest video is a recreation of the Mega Man 2 intro. The sprites of Mega Man and Dr. Wily are pulled directly from Mega Man 7, but everything else has been made from scratch. It's all very Neo Tokyo-ish. Too much, perhaps. The prologue text still claims this to be the year 200X, i.e. no later than 2009, but looking at all those hovercars, I half expect Korben Dallas to come screaming by in his flying taxi.

Taking your Minecraft models to a 3D printer has always sounded like a fun weekend project, but it's one the majority of us have never gotten around to. This could change with Mineways, a free, open-source program that helps prep your virtual creation for existence as a physical model.

Even if you ultimately end up using different software, Mineways developer Eric Haines offers an insightful guide with plenty of recommendations and useful links to other relevant resources. You may want to bookmark that page for future reference.

One can only hope that 3D printing becomes popular enough to find its way into the average home. Projects like these might be the start of something wonderful.

The fart joke is one of the mighty pillars of comedy because it's so basic. Any embarrassing action accompanied by a sound effect is automatically rendered hilarious to all witnesses. And although good timing can amplify the effect, it's a joke that doesn't usually require any setup whatsoever. It just happens and it's funny.

Unless you're the gang at Casual Brothers, who decided that their fart-joke-cum-action-game Orcs Attack needed a bit of exposition. In this four-player co-op brawler coming to Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, PC and OnLive late in 2012, orcs driven out of their homes by ecologically-challenged humans have developed dangerously explosive flatulence due to consuming fruits grown in their now poisonous environment. Now they're turning the tables and using this new found anal armament to seek vengeance.

Looks silly, fun and very promising for a game with up to nearly a year remaining until release. Hell, the above video is footage from a demo level from E3 of last year, meaning things may have yet progressed quite significantly already in the last six months. Worth keeping an eye on, I'd say.
