Rock Band teams up with Old Navy for some Thanksgiving

NEWS - They’re calling it Gobblepalooza. The promotion starts tomorrow and entails Rock Band gifts and shopping deals. Rock Band kiosks will be set up in around 700 Old Navy stores across the U.S. and Canada. Six of the Old Navy flagships will have 10x10 Rock Band entertainment stages where customers can perform while they sort through the clothes. You wont have to drag your kids along for pre-holiday shopping and witness their boredom any longer. In tandem with the promotion, Old Navy will also be selling Rock Band branded shirts and gaming software.

And now for the deals…

On Thanksgiving, this Thursday, customers will get a chance to win $200 towards a shopping spree, Rock Band tracks, and other prizes to be revealed. Canadians will enjoy said promotion on Friday, the 27th.

Purchases at Old Navy will also get you two different Rock Band gifts, while they’re in stock. Buying Rock Band 2 for either the 360, PS3, or Wii will get you a free Rock Band guitar.

The promotion doesn’t even end there. If you buy $20 or more of Old Navy products on Black Friday, you will receive a special Rock Band gift for the 360, PS3, or Wii (also while supplies last).

Wait, I’m not done yet. Old Navy is also instigating Wonderful Wednesdays on December 9th and December 16th for people who buy $25 or more of Old Navy’s products. Doing so will get you a free Rock Band track download code.

Oh, the days of cross-promotion have just begun.
