Random Rant: Sixth Times the Charm

I enjoy a good rant every now and then; it helps to cleanse the soul by getting stuff off my mind. I?ve ranted about the Wii, whether you agree with my or not is up to you, but this rant is one I think all of you will agree with.  Microsoft sucks at making consoles. That?s right, I said it: the Xbox 360 is the worst gadget I?ve ever bought.  The Red Ring of Death epidemic, disc drive failures, and now the E74 problem all supports this opinion.  This rant was inspired because my 360 died on me last night causing me to get another.  What?s the big deal, you ask?  You?ve had the same problem too you say?  Well I?m on Xbox number six, and I?m about to be through with the consol altogether because this is ridiculous. My PS2 lasted seven years.  My PS3, so far, has lasted three (knock on wood).  I don?t want to attack Microsoft; everyone knows this is a problem so I?m not saying anything new.  I just want Microsoft to realize how badly they screwed up.  Sure, their console is fairly cheap.  Sure, their online service is second to none.  But that doesn?t matter when the console doesn?t even work.  So enough ranting, what?s your horror story?  How many 360?s have you gone through, or if you?re the proud owner of one of the mythical launch 360?s that are still alive, let me know.
