Lucasarts just dumped a ton of info in our laps about Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron for PSP and DS, out this fall.

For the first time in Battlefront, you'll be fighting multi-level battles on the ground and in space. You can start the fight on foot, hop in a vehicle, and land on a starship to finish the job.

The story will span all six films and beyond. You'll play as X2, a clone trooper created from the DNA of a Jedi Master. After being assigned to wipe out Jedi during Order 66, X2 decides to leave his evil ways behind and join the Rebellion. However, his brother, X1, is still aligned with the dark side. Chances are, they will both lead peaceful, fulfilling lives and never meet.

Naturally, the PSP and DS version will be different, with the PSP version being an even more customizable version of what we've seen before and the DS version being a new class-based experience.
