NEWS - Yeah, you read that right and that was my exact reaction when I first read the news. VG247 is reporting that a tweet on the lead writer for the project leaked the news that Jamie Foxx has been cast as Lynch in the movie adaptation of Kane & Lynch. Lead writer Kyle Ward has posted on his account the following, "done deal... Jamie Foxx is in." Does this make any sense to anyone out there? I understand power casting a role, but I am not exactly sure what if any similarities can be found in Jamie Foxx and Lynch. They do realize that Lynch was portrayed as a psychotic hillbilly, more or less... right? This just doesn't add up to me...
