According to Electronic Arts, DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is enjoying healthy sales at retail. So healthy, in fact, that the publisher has passed along a few numbers to prove it.
The first? The publisher says the game is "on pace" to be the best selling title in March; there have been over 2.3 million units sold-through in North America and Europe. Good for them, right? Game's pretty good, so a well deserved success, indeed.
More numbers for you, straight from EA:
The game's popularity may explain the server issues many people have been experiencing. But Battlefield franchise Executive Producer Karl Magnus Troedsson says that's in the past.
"DICE and EA have brought more servers online," he says. "We now have enough capacity to handle all Battlefield: Bad Company 2 connections seamlessly and we continue to monitor online play daily."
So how's that working out for everyone?
