Bionic Commando swings into action next month

NEWS - Capcom has finally announced the release date(s) for the upcoming downloadable title Bionic Commando Rearmed 2. The title will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade on February 1 and the PSN version will follow a day later on February 2, 2011. The title will cost $14.99 / 1200 Microsoft points.

The followup to the GRIN developed 2008 remake of Capcom’s classic Bionic Commando looks to “revolutionize” the 2D series by giving you the ability to jump. That’s right: JUMP. This will undoubtedly change the overall feel of the game... and I don’t need mean that sarcastically. True, die hard Bionic Commando fans don’t have to worry as the game will also include an option to eliminate the ability to jump; there are actually achievements / Trophies that correspond with completing the game in the “classic” manner.
