My name is Alphadeus. On August 20, 2010, I released the Destructoid Community Album Volume 1. It was very well-received, and I am happy to say that a lot of people enjoyed it. Since then I have been working on a second volume.

I am proud to say that Destructoid Community Album Volume 2 is complete. It has 35 member tracks, 5 bonus tracks, and 2 hidden tracks, for a grand total of 42 tracks with a 2 hour, 14 minute running time. I created a majority of the tracks in January of this year.

For those that don't know, the idea behind the Destructoid Community Album series is simple. I originally asked members of the website if they wanted me to write theme music for them, and I received a huge response. Before I finished Volume 1, I had 60 members requesting music. It was crazy and exciting at the same time. This was a great opportunity to give back to the wonderful members of the website, including the amazing staff.

When I released volume 1, I originally had the music on YouTube as videos, and you could download the album for free on my website. I can no longer afford to maintain a website, so I use Bandcamp to host my music. 200 people can download it for free if they wish. If you want to buy it with money, I would like you to know that any money received through this (and any) album on my Bandcamp Page will go towards a large doctor bill and future medical needs. I am unemployed at the moment, unable to work full-time due to disability, trying to find part-time work with no luck.

I thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully listen. I am working on volume 3, but I have 35 members already on the list. I was planning on stopping at volume 3, but if there is enough demand, I will consider a volume 4.
