Shigeru Miyamoto says many Motion Plus projects and new hardware in the works
While accepting a "Special Achievement Prize" at the 13th Annual Japan Media Arts Festival on Saturday, Shigeru Miyamoto made references to new Nintendo hardware in development and multiple Motion Plus game projects.

A detailed report of the event from 4gamer reveals the Mario creator mentioned that Nintendo is developing new hardware. This comes after last week's rumor that developers are currently working on a "new Nintendo platform", said to be announced at next month's GDC conference.
Speculation of a new Nintendo console has been continually bubbling up. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata recently spoke to investors at a Q&A session about Wii HD rumors, saying "It needs something new".
Beyond hardware talk, Miyamoto also said he is working on a new motion-based game (or possibly many games) that utilize Wii Motion Plus. No word yet on what exactly these titles are, but perhaps one of these is for this new hardware or platform Nintendo is rumored to be announcing soon.
