I'm not into cosplaying myself but I know many people who are.  Thankfully they mostly come out at night....mostly.  However, I recently came across this website that made me for the first time consider cosplaying.  If only as an excuse to buy a Master Sword.  The 'blademaster' makes replica's of the Master Sword and Shield from both Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princes that look pretty dead on.  The only drawback is that replica's are made out of fiberglass and not metal.  So don't go re-enacting any battles with them.
