Peace Walker dated in Japan

NEWS - Those waiting for the portable Metal Gear game in Japan will now have a firm date. Kotaku has an image from the latest Famitsu magazine showing that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will be out on 3/18/2010. No date, of course, has been set for those of us in the United States but let's hope it's not too far off from the Japanese date.

The game takes place after Metal Gear Solid 3 and gives you the story on the rise of Outer Haven. The game also lets multiple people play as Snakes together. As a MGS fan, I'm tempted to pick up a PSP to play the game though and seeing the co-op in action makes it even more interesting to me.
