NEWS - This is going to be a rather dull non-event. Guitar Hero Smash Hits is going to be a cherry-picked collection of the top-performing songs from the original Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, and Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. But rather than reveal the songs that made the final cut (tantalizingly, brutally, or otherwise), they're asking you to vote on which tracks are revealed from what album and in what order they're revealed. I know. I'm annoyed already. But, to whet your check marking appetite, here are some of the tracks that appeared on each:
- Guitar Hero
- "Killer Queen" -- Queen
- "I Love Rock N Roll" -- Joan Jett and The Blackhearts
- "Bark At The Moon" -- Ozzy Osbourne
- Guitar Hero II
- "Them Bones" -- Alice in Chains
- "Killing In The Name" -- Rage Against The Machine
- "Message In A Bottle" -- The Police
- "Carry On Wayward Son" -- Kansas
- "Free Bird" -- Lynyrd Skynyrd
- Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s
- "I Wanna Rock" -- Twisted Sister
- "Nothin But A Good Time" -- Poison
- Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
- "Barracuda" -- Heart
- "Through The Fire And Flames" -- DragonForce
Get ready for me to say some overused platitude like go
